This fabulous trek takes you off the beaten path and through the Gurung Villages of Ghalelgoung and Parje, giving an awesome cultural high. Tara Hill Top at 3056m provides breathtaking close-up views of the entire Annapurna Range. The ridge above the village of Sikles affords marvelous views of the Eastern Annapurnas. We trek through the friendly villages, terraced fields, alpine pastures and rhododendron forests to Parje Village. We continue on through a shady forest of rhododendron- hung heavy with lichen and moss, wild flowers and orchids flowering on the branches above us. In the midst of this forest is our camp.
