This is an outstanding trek in eastern Nepal. One of the bigger eight thou sander in the Himalayas. The trek to Makalu Base Camp visits one of the most remote and unfrequented areas of Nepal. The long trek and unspoiled terrain makes this trek a classic in its own. This trek goes high up to 5000 m. One has to be physically fit as this trek is graded adventurous.
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel. Alt. 1,350m. / 4,428 ft.
Day 2: Preparation for the trek.
Day 3: Fly to Tumling Tar & Camp at Alt. 937m/3073ft. (1 hrs)
Day 4: Trek to Manebhanjyng Alt 1250m /4100ft. (6 hrs).
Day 5: Trek to Chichila Alt. 2000m/6560 ft. (6 hrs).
Day 6: Trek to Sheduwa Alt. 1650m/5412 ft. (5 hrs).
Day 7: Trek to Tashi Gaun Alt. 2200m/7216 ft. (5 hrs).
Day 8: Trek to Kauma Danda Alt. 3500m/11480 ft. (6 hrs).
