 Kathmandu Valley and Nagarkot  Tour- 3 Night  4 Days ::

  DAY 1

Upon arrival in Kathmandu you will be greeted by a Trek Nepal representative and transferred to your hotel.

Afternoon: Half-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu City called the "CITY OF GLORY". We will visit Kasthamandap, Kumari Ghar, home of the living Goddess, Kal Bhairab and Taleju Temple. Afterwards, we will proceed to Swayambhunath Stupa, known as the monkey temple after the tribe of monkeys, which look after the hill and often, amuse the visitors. This temple is said to be one of the oldest Buddhist Stupas (more than 2000 years old) in the world, and is majestically situated high atop a hill overlooking Kathmandu Valley. Overnight in Kathmandu

DAY 2

Morning: Half-day sightseeing tour of the medieval, walled city of Bhaktapur. We will visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the Golden Gate, Palace of 55 Windows, Lion's Gate, and Nyatpola temple, the tallest of its kind in Nepal. Afterwards, we take a short visit to Bhairab Temple, the Pottery Centre and Dattratraya Temple Visit Durbar Square, Krishna Temple and Hiranya Varna Mahavihar, the Golden Temple of Lord Buddha.

Afternoon: After a light lunch at Bhaktapur before we drive to Nagarkot. Our drive takes us through idyllic countryside and farming land. Nagarkot is at the elevation of 2100m. The surrounding views are breathtaking. You can see the Himalayan mountain range from Mt Dhaulagiri in the west to Mt. Everest and Kanchanjunga in the east.

DAY 3

We have an early wake up call for sunrise over the mountains. Again you will see the stunning views of entire range of the Himalayan from east to the west. After breakfast we drive down to Patan, the "CITY OF FINE ARTS" where you can shop for unique statues, bronze castings and jewellery. Visit Durbar Square, Krishna Temple and Hiranya Varna Mahavihar, the Golden Temple of Lord Buddha. Afterwards we will visit the Tibetan Handicraft Centre. Overnight in Kathmandu.

DAY 4

Early morning optional mountain flight and transfer to international airport for flight to next destination.
