Maya Devi Temple, Ashokan Pillar, Kapilbastu, Nigli Hawa, Khudan Bari, Dev Daha, multinational Monasteries are the main attraction of Lumbini.Chitwan is the more popular destination for holiday and vacations for visitors. Particularly, Chitwan is best place for wildlife safari in south Asian country. For the jungle activities normally one can do Elephant back safari, Tharu village tour, Jeep safari, Bird watching, Tharu traditional Dance, Canoe Trip, Biking tour, horse riding, camel riding, nature walking, these are the jungle activities in the National Park.
Day 1:
Upon arrival in Kathmandu International Airport, met by Trek Nepal representative and transfer to hotel.
Half-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu City, called the "CITY OF GLORY". We will visit Kasthamandap, Kumari Ghar, home of the living Goddess, Kal Bhairab and Taleju Temple. Afterwards, we will proceed to Swayambhunath Stupa, known as the monkey temple after the tribe of monkeys, which looks after the hill and often, amuses the visitors. This temple is said to be one of the oldest Buddhist Stupas (more than 2000 years old) in the world, and majestically situated high atop a hill overlooking Kathmandu Valley. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 2:
Patan, the "CITY OF FINE ARTS". Visit Durbar Square, Krishna Temple and Hiranya Varna Mahavihar, the Golden Temple of Lord Buddha. Afterwards we will visit the Tibetan Handicraft Centre. Overnight hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 3:
Morning transfer to the airport to fly to Bhirawa. Stunning views of Langtang, Ganesh Himal, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Ranges from the flight. Lunch in Lumbini. Afternoon leisure and free to explore the town or for shopping option.
Day 4:
Sightseeing tour of Lumbini the birth place of Lord Buddha. Plenty of time is allocated for pray. Lunch at hotel. Afternoon is free.
Day 5:
After breakfast we drive to Chitwan National Park 4 hrs by private transport. Lunch at Chitwan. At late Afternoon guided local village tour and elephant breading center. Evening of slide presentation featuring national park, its animal and history.
Day 6:
Full day excursion at Chitwan. Jungle activities i.e. guided jungle walk, Elephant back safari, village tour, canoe ride, visit to the Elephant breeding centre, evening with cultural dance.
Day 7:
Drive back to Kathmandu 5 hrs. by private transport. Overnight in Kathmandu
Day 8:
Early morning optional mountain flight. Departure transfer. End of the program!
