The first day trip of the mystical Kathmandu Valley includes the major historic, cultural and religious sites of Kathmandu- Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath, and Pashupatinath-Lord of animals with the open view of Hindu Cremation System on the bank of religiously important river.
Day 1: Upon arrival in Kathmandu International Airport, met by Trek Nepal representative and transfer to hotel.
Half-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu City, called the "CITY OF GLORY". We will visit Kasthamandap, Kumari Ghar, home of the living Goddess, Kal Bhairab and Taleju Temple. Afterwards, we will proceed to Swayambhunath Stupa, known as the monkey temple after the tribe of monkeys, which looks after the hill and often, amuses the visitors. This temple is said to be one of the oldest Buddhist Stupas (more than 2000 years old) in the world, and majestically situated high atop a hill overlooking Kathmandu Valley. Day 2 :
Morning: Half-day sightseeing tour of Patan, the "CITY OF FINE ARTS". Visit Durbar Square, Krishna Temple and Hiranya Varna Mahavihar, the Golden Temple of Lord Buddha. Afterwards we will visit the Tibetan Handicraft Centre.
Afternoon: Half day sightseeing tour of the medireview city Bhaktapur. We will visit Durbar Square, the Golden Gate, Palace of 55 Windows, Lion's Gate, and Nyatpola temple, the tallest of its kind in Nepal. Afterwards, a short visit to Bhairab Temple, the Pottery Centre and Dattratraya Temple.
Evening: 9-course special farewell Nepali dinner. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu
Day 3: Early morning optional mountain flight. Departure transfer to the airport. End of the program!
