Getting There:
Druk Air fly every Monday
and Thursday between
Kathmandu and Paro. Cost for
one way is US$ 190 and US$
380 for round trip. Flight
also can be connected from
Calcutta (India)
Group Size:
A minimum of 2 person are
required from getting
permits to trek in Bhutan.
For Tours 1 to 2 pax are
considered. FIT’S & 3 above
as group. A special discount
is available. If you are
traveling in a group of 3
and above.
Best season: March –
May and September to October
Monsoon: June to August
Winter: December to February
Clothing:
October to March – Warm
clothing. April to September
– light cotton things. A
warm sweater and a jacket
are always advised.
Photography:
16mm film cameras are
prohibited in Bhutan.
Photography in some of the
Monasteries and Dzongs are
not allowed.
